From start to finish, Everyone was so professional and friendly from Janice, to the Receptionist Dawn, and the office accounting manager Tiffany, to the installers! Everything was delivered on time, as was promised, and everything was done with great care, and follow up ! The entire experience was exceptional 5 Star PLUS!!!!!!

Thank you Custom Windows for doing a wonderful job with helping with the design, installation and cleaning the windows. The sales personal, installers and window cleaning crew were friendly and professional. Having the lanai enclosed is giving us the extra space to entertain any time of the year. I love that I still have the ability to have open the windows and enjoy the fresh cool air. No more bringing in the cushions every time it rains, which is often in FL. No more pollen covering all of the floors and furniture during pollen season. I wish I had done this sooner. Thank you to the entire staff at Custom Windows.

Response from the owner:Thank you for your wonderful review. We are pleased you chose us to enclosure ypur lanai to keep those elements out and off of your furniture during pollen season. :) We are pleased to have achieved your satisfaction and you chose to spread the word.

Custom Windows did a great job enclosing my lanai. I went with screens and sliding glass doors. The installers worked so hard in the brutal heat. I love that my lanai stays cleaner. Couldn't be happier!

Response from the owner:Thank you so much for posting your satisfaction with all your experience throughout our Lanai enclosure process. We value your opinion.

Very friendly staff, showroom, professionally done. All questions were answered thoroughly. Our cabana series glass is just what we wanted to enclose our screened lanai, love the extra room. The finished product was fairly priced and very well done. Only issue we had was all dates estimated were very low, four visits to office to encourage appointments and procedure to keep going. Mistakes, during ordering, turned our 7 to 8 week estimate into 11 then 15 weeks.

Response from the owner:Thank you for sharing your experience and are saddened by the challenges experienced during your installation. Although this isn't typical, human mistakes can be made but we always strive to resolve all issues in the timeliness manner we have available through manufacturing and material availability.

The thing we didn’t care for was our old enclosed porch was torn down for 5 weeks before the installation could take place. We had a tv, mini split and a fan that all had to be covered by 2 old ladies up on ladders. Two suggestions- either help cover those items but then also figure out a better plan than 5 weeks before installation takes place. Not happy and slightly agitated. Also this is our 2nd porch enclosure with your company.

Response from the owner:We appreciate your feedback and understand it's not desired to have a already enclosed lanai open while custom sized new products are manufactured to fit your newly designed layout. Using our many years of experience, we assess each project to determine the best steps to provide each customer the best finished results. These expected processes are discussed upfront and openly during the designers consult and at time of initial measurements. We truly want the best outcome for each customer. We even offer draping screens around all openings to help limit wildlife from entering the area during the product manufacturing and delivery times. We are sincerely sorry you feel we missed the mark for your specific situation as most customers don't cover ceiling and high mounted fixture and items.

We called Custom Windows to have our lanai windows and screens cleaned. Each time they have cleaned our windows, they have been extremely good, very professional and friendly. We love the work they do…especially that we don’t have to do it.

Response from the owner:Thank you

Custom Windows and exterior design is one of the best businesses we have dealt with while living here in The Villages. Added glass sliding doors to lanai, They show up when they say they will finish the job when they say they will and give you quality products. we couldn’t be happier with our choice in using this company. Two of our neighbors recommended them and they hit the nail on the head. We also highly recommend them.

Response from the owner:We are proud of our staff and our products. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Replaced older stacking vinyl with full height glass. All staff contacted were excellent....but they are busy.

Response from the owner:Thank you so much for the great review. We appreciate your business and your expression how we treated you as our customer. We are blessed to be busy and have 39 years business longevity. We take pride in our installation of our products while supplying thicker than minimal requied aluminum subframes and conture cuts to floor slopes. Remodel of lanai was excellent. Kyle and crew did an awesome job with impeccable attention to detail. Window cleaners excellent as well. I only wish the storm door opened the way the previous one did. This one opens the opposite way but it usable as is.

Response from the owner:Thank you for the remarkable review and highlighting the key individuals that made your experience wonderful. We highly appreciate your business.

Excellent from start to finish. The city inspector even said he loves this company. They do great work.

Response from the owner:We greatly appreciate this detailed 5-star review. We pride ourselves by using above minimum standard gauge aluminum products and tried and true install techniques we've aquired throughout our 39 years in the Lanai enclosure business. It brings us joy to know official building inspectors comment about how well they view our work. Again thank you. We expect you'll be able to continue enjoying your Lanai for many years to come.

I had the most satisfying experience from a window and door company that I have ever had. From the time that I visited the place of business. Custom Windows and Doors were so eager to help with my project. Custom Windows and Doors did an outstanding job and I will be doing more business with them in the near future. We started this process in June of 2025. It has just been completed this month FEBRUARY OF 2026 so approximately 8 months. This company has been very responsive to issues with quality fixes. These issues were primarily due to supplier quality problems. Hopefully these issues will not be persistent for Custom in the future. Thanks to Custom’s team in working through the problems.

Response from the owner:Thank you for the feedback and we appreciate you still giving us a relatively High star count. Unfortunately some of the situations with the manufacturer can sometimes prolong job timelines and isn't what we desire with our reputation. We continue to stand behind the product to provide quality and we sincerely hope that you're now able to fully enjoy your Lanai and relax with a "good life" feeling.
